Our company has an exciting career opportunity for a full cycle bookkeeper (junior and senior positions available) with a take charge attitude, running day-to-day operations in a busy office. The firm is seeking an experienced, detail oriented, high energy individual who is focused on meeting the needs of clients and managing the work flow of a vibrant and growing firm.
Your New Role:
•Communicate effectively with clients to determine bookkeeping requirements.
•Provide full cycle of booking support, including but not limited to, AR, AP, payroll, reconciliations, YE working papers.
•Ensure that all government requirements of the clients are met, including but not limited to HST, GST, PST, ETD, T4, T5, Source Deductions, EHT.
•Upkeep files both electronically and hard copies for company and client records
•Assist with monthly financial reporting.
•Plan and perform review and notice to reader engagements.
•Liaise with external auditors & CRA as required.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
•Enrollment or completion of a CPA program preferred.
•Minimum 7 years experience in full cycle bookkeeping and/or accounting is a must.
•Proficiency with MS Office especially excel and outlook.
•Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal is mandatory.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Effective communication skills in order to liaise with clients.
•Multi tasking and prioritization skills are crucial
•QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) – mandatory
•Sage (50) – mandatory
•Sage (100 , 300) – preferred
•Case Ware – preferred
•MYOB – preferred
•PC Law – preferred
