Our client, a Law Firm in Laval are currently looking for an Office Manager to join their team. Previous management experience is essential for this role and ideally experience in a Law firm although this is not essential.
·Ensure adequate training and delegation of Office Management tasks to the Deputy Office Manager (or another member of staff) in order that operational requirements are met during your absence.
·Assign and regulate support staff functions.
·Delegate the responsibilities of the support team to ensure a consistent and fair workload.
·Evaluate, assess, and manage the performance of support employees.
·Conduct probationary, annual and any required ad hoc Appraisals for support employees.
·Assess, plan and implement absence cover in line with workloads and business needs.
·Resolve any interdepartmental and personal disputes in the office.
·Oversee health and safety requirements.
·Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and data.
·Provide weekly report to department heads.
·Participate in Office Manager meetings.
·Undertake the new employee induction training.
·Communicate employee changes or updates.
·To work with the Partners, Practice Manager and H.R. on any projects as directed, to improve the overall running of the office.
·Ensure an adequate supply of stationery and equipment in the office.
·Previous management experience.
·A legal background.
·Excellent Microsoft Office experience.
·25.5 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays.

Working hours are 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
