Position: Account Manager
Location: Richmond, BC
Our client is looking for an Account Manager to join their team.
Report directly to the Vice President of Sales
Work cohesively within the sales department
Arrange sales calls from the hundreds of clients already in our system and develop client relationships
Expectations are for a minimum of 15 in person sales calls per week
Ongoing and proactive communication with existing and potential customers
Submit weekly sales reports
Develop and maintain a customer database
Prepare and present transportation quotations.
Develop sales presentations.
Respond to sales inquiries and concerns.
Participate in sales events, such as Trade shows, networking events etc.
Cultivate industry relationships.
Experience with logistics, freight or shipping sales is an asset.
Potential for expansion of sales into other provinces.
