What is Job bank Toronto (www.JobBankToronto.com)?
We are the City of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area’s premier Job Bank. We focus on jobs from Southern Ontario as opposed to geographically nonspecific job sites for Canada and/or North America. Because of our dedication to the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario; we provide a more focused Toronto and Area job search/recruitment site. We have over 100,000 greater Toronto jobs listed.
We have more jobs because we allow free job listings. We get the jobs posted for candidates to see and we allow other sites to back fill with the jobs posted on our site. We are Toronto’s premier job site : Job Bank Toronto.
Why do you have free job postings?
We have free job postings as we want to bring the Toronto hidden job market into view. Companies can choose to post for free or use our premium services. This encourages jobs that are not traditionally posted (hidden jobs), to be listed on our job search engine. Our “freemium” approach has a side benefit of getting more job postings on our job site. An abundance of jobs attracts a greater number of job seekers. More jobs equals more popular.

Posting on our free job site advertises your organization and your job postings in the City of Toronto, the greater Toronto area and Southern Ontario. We back link to any organization who posts jobs. What geographic areas does your job search engine cover?
Job Bank Toronto focuses on the City of Toronto and the greater Toronto area (GTA) including Southern Ontario. Our job search engine is capable of pulling up jobs anywhere in North America from other job banks. We allow other job sites to back fill with our jobs and we also back fill with Indeed jobs.
Please post as many free Southern Ontario Jobs as you like or use our premium services. Post Jobs for free in the City of Toronto and the surrounding GTA which includes; Aurora, Hamilton, Milton, Pickering, Mississauga, Whitby, Oshawa, Burlington, North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, NewMarket, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Peterborough, Brampton, Brantford, Kitchener, St Catherines, Niagara, Waterloo Kingston, Belleville, Ottawa and any other southern Ontario town or city.
Why do you allow other job sites to re-post job listings from Job Bank Toronto?
Other major Toronto and Canadian job sites back fill from jobs posted on Job Bank Toronto. This allows a greater audience for the job ads you post on our site. The search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing pick up the jobs ads as well.
Can you force my job ads to be exclusive to Job Bank Toronto?
No, we have agreements in effect to allow other job sites to re-post our jobs. This is for the benefit of the employer/recruiter. We do not sell job ads, we provide them freely. If you own a job site contact us for our feed.

Who owns Job Bank Toronto?
Job Bank Toronto is owned by Jobs.to (a private Ontario based family owned business).
I posted a job but you didn’t post it or it has been removed; Why?
Well there are many possibilities;
i) It was a sex trade job.
ii) The job was in poor taste or didn’t meet standards as per the Canada/Ontario’s HRPA
iii) You made claims or promises that seem unrealistic.
iv) You didn’t complete your job ad fully (i.e. location).
iv) You left the job as a draft on our system.
v) Your Job wasn’t local to southern Ontario or even Canada.
vi) Complaints were received about your organization or job ad.
vi) Free job postings take up to 48 hours to be reviewed by our staff. Be patient as we sift through the spam.
Note that job posting on our site is at our discretion. We love to post job ads, but will not post questionable or ads in poor taste. Please contact us if you have any questions.
